Terms, privacy and credits.

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The site is for information

This site tells you who we are and what we do. Nothing on it is an offer, a quotation, a tender, an offer of employment or a promise. We are bound only by a written agreement signed for the company.

Market prices

The prices in the price box come from other parties: the U.S. Energy Information Administration and Metals.dev. We show them as we receive them. They can be late or wrong. They are not advice. Do not trade, price or contract on them.

Accuracy

We try to keep the site correct and current. We give it as it is, and we may change it at any time without notice.

Our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage that comes from using this site or relying on it. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law says cannot be taken away.

Who owns what

The name Moyakhe Industries, the mark, the logo and the words on this site belong to the company. The pictures belong to the people who made them and are used under the licences listed under picture credits. You may read the site and link to it. You may not use our name, mark or logo as if they were yours or as if you act for us.

Other sites

Links to other sites are there to help. We do not run those sites and are not responsible for them.

The staff area

The staff area is for people we have authorised. Trying to get into it without authority is not allowed and may be a crime.

Law

South African law governs these terms and the use of this site. The South African courts have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

This notice tells you what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is given under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

Who is responsible

Moyakhe Industries (Pty) Ltd, at the registered office given above, is the responsible party. Our Information Officer can be reached at admin@moyakheindustries.co.za.

If you only visit the site

• We do not ask you for anything. There is no account for visitors, no form and no newsletter.
• The site sets no cookies of its own and carries no advertising or tracking.
• The company that hosts the site, Cloudflare, keeps technical logs of requests: internet address, browser, the page asked for, and the time. We use them to run the site and keep it safe. Cloudflare may use a cookie that is strictly needed for security.

If you write to us

We keep your name, your address and what you tell us, and we use them to answer you. Writing to us is your choice.

If you apply for work

If you send us your CV, we keep it and what you tell us so that we can consider you for work. We keep it for 12 months and then delete it, unless we employ you. You may ask us to delete it sooner. Please do not send copies of your identity document or your bank details.

If you are staff

To sign in to the staff area we use your email address, a password that we keep only in scrambled form, and a sign-in cookie. We record who captured each form.

If one of our teams interviewed you

Information from interviews is collected in person, with your consent, for the purpose explained to you at the interview. It is kept in the staff area, and only the team leads can read it. You may ask us to remove it.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and its database for us and may process information outside South Africa. It acts on our instructions and must keep the information secure. We do not sell personal information and do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.

Your rights

• You may ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
• You may object to how we use it, and withdraw a consent you gave.
• You may ask for access to our records under the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000.
